The Elements Building

Corvallis, Oregon

JHL design partnered with Modern Organic Architecture on this LEED-Silver, mixed-use building in Corvallis, Oregon. The simply designed, modern architecture leads way to a luxurious interior. The Elements Building houses a 15,000 square foot day spa, as well as a rooftop restaurant & bar. The views from these locations capitalize on the view of the foothills in the distance. JHL design brought influence to every aspect of this project: custom furniture, locally made tiles, custom engineered hardwoods & custom water features to name a few. Instrumental to the finished product was finding the specialized local craftsman to implement green building practices. As an architecture & design team, our goal was to evoke a sense of social and environmental responsibility through the development of this building. The building was completed in 2007 and has already won an award for First Place from the Portland Daily Journal of Commerce, “Design Excellence in Private Buildings between Five and Fifteen Million Dollars”.
