We have passion for design, we have knowledge of materials and components that make for great design, and we have the skills to make it all come together. Although most of the design work that we do at JHL Design is simple, clean and stylized, we can accommodate many different design requests.JHL Design is a family owned-business founded by Jane Freres, and now managed by her daughter Holly Freres. Together our principals have more than 20 years of combined residential and commercial design experience. Holly has been managing partner since 2003. After living abroad in places such as France and New Zealand and traveling throughout Europe and Southeast Asia, Holly brings a multifaceted and diverse perspective to our commercial and hospitality design work. Her desire is to bring each space she develops into a place of harmony & timelessness. We also believe that the key to a successful business is not to only serve our clients, but also to serve the community. Our passion for the integration of sustainably responsible choices into our design works is a way of life, not a design adjunct. We are continually gathering resources for sustainable design solutions and establishing a network of local trades – people and fabricators who share this vision.
